Autumn in Kitakaruizawa & Tsumagoi

September eases out of summer heat. Mornings and evenings get cooler. October is foliage season. Karuizawa/Kitakaruizawa peaks mid to late October; Kumoba Pond peaks late October to early November. Autumn Sauna at THE FOREST SAUNA

Autumn offers a pleasant contrast between sauna heat and cool outdoor air. Warm up in the HARVIA barrel sauna, then cool down in the deck water bath amid autumn leaves. Cool morning and evening air deepens the totonoi. *From November, the deck water bath is closed; use the indoor bath instead. The 80-inch projector is great for autumn movie nights.
